If you own a 2014 – 2016 Toyota 4Runner and have been thinking moving going to a oversized tire or high-clearance lift, check out the brand-new Pocket Style Fender Flares that were just released from Bushwacker. The flares provide 1.5-inches of extra tire coverage in both the front and rear of your 4Runner.
The Pocket Style Fender Flares are made in the USA from a 100% UV-protected Dura-Flex 2000 material. They feature an OE matte-black finish that won’t fade over time, yet they are easily paintable if you’re looking to color match them to your 4Runner.
Installation of the flares is relatively simple and requires minimal drilling. Recessed stainless steel hardware ensures that the flares stay firmly in place and won’t catch on potential trail obstacles. There is no cutting of your 4Runner’s sheet metal required.
Prior to their release, Bushwacker outfitted the Expedition Overland 4Runners with the new Pocket Style Fender Flares to really put them though the paces and durability test them. After 4,800 miles trekking from the Montana to the Darien Gap, the flares had zero issues and survived the rugged and often harsh conditions.
The Pocket Style Fender Flares for the 2014-2016 Toyota 4Runner retail for $502. The price is for a complete set that includes both front and rear fenders. For more information on the new fenders, or to learn more about Bushwacker’s other offerings, head over to their website.
