If you’re not already familiar with First Tactical, it’s probably a company that you should put on your radar. They launched earlier this year with the mission of creating and manufacturing durable products that meet the needs of public safety. The designs and products are the result of working with in conjunction with first-hand, active end users to ensure functionality, performance, and reliability. The first wave of their new product launch included apparel and bags. Now, on December 10th, they are releasing a brand-new lineup of knives and flashlights.
According to First Tactical, their knives are driven by the intimate relationship between an operator and a tool. They are built with form following function, with an emphasis on being a reliable and solid tools that performs time and time again. There are three knives in the new collection: Copperhead (shown above), Viper (shown below) and Diamondback.
While full details won’t be released until December 10th when they launch, each of the three knives are available in either a tanto or spear style. Prices on the knives will begin at $29.99. MOTUS will have more in-depth coverage on each of the three knives after they’re released next week.
In addition to the three new knives, First Tactical will also be releasing their lineup of four new flashlights. Headlined by the Medium Duty Light (shown above), these flashlights promise to be an added tool for every public service professional. The Medium Duty Light is mid-sized, yet strong enough to take some serious abuse. The light also features a durable clip for easy attachment to pockets or your bag. Pricing information and specifics on the flashlights has not yet been released.
In addition to their new product launch this month, First Tactical has partnered with the Stanislaus County Police Activities League (StanCoPal), a 501 (C) (3) non-profit organization that provides children with alternatives to drugs, gangs, and other criminal activity.
