Earlier this year, Ram Trucks debuted the all-new Ram Rebel. Today Ram Trucks announced pricing information for the Ram 1500 Rebel. As we previously reported, the Rebel features increased ride height, standard 33-inch tires, skid plates, and a unique interior. Ram Trucks believes that the Rebel will bring a “one-of-a-kind, off-road design” to the full-size truck market.
The Ram 1500 Rebel Crew Cab will be available in both 4×2 and 4×4 configurations. The 4×2 comes standard with the 5.7-liter HEMI V-8 and starts at $42,790. The 4×4 model can be purchased with their the HEMI (starting at $46,370) or the 3.0-liter EcoDiesel (starting at $44,720). According to Ram Trucks, The EcoDiesel V-6 gets a class leading 29 miles per gallon and delivers 240 horsepower and 420 lb.-ft. of torque.
We got a chance to check out the Ram Rebel in person at this year’s Overland Expo. While we didn’t get a chance to get behind the wheel (the off-road course was closed due to the weather), the stock photography from Ram Trucks does not do this truck justice. The detailing is very nice throughout and the Rebel is one sharp looking pickup. We will keep you posted and update you again after we get a little dirt therapy behind the wheel of the Rebel. In the meantime, check out the video below from Ram Trucks or learn more about the Ram Rebel on their website.
