We all know that the morning cup of coffee is paramount to a good camping trip. No coffee equals no fun. If you’re looking for a simple solution to getting that morning fix, you might want to check out the Bush Smarts Solo Coffee Kit.
The Bush Smarts Solo Coffee Kit will quickly get you squared away with some simple, cowboy style coffee brewing. The kit comes complete with a 1L Nalgene bottle (directions are printed on the side), a feather light filter, and brewing instructions. The process is simple enough. Simply add ground coffee to the empty Nalgene and pour in hot water. You’ll then close the cap on the bottle and give it a good shake to make sure you coffee grounds and hot water are mixing nicely. Then, remove the cap from the Nalgene, toss on the kit’s filter, and pour away. It sure beats the hold making coffee with a bandana trick.
While we haven’t given the Bush Smarts Solo Coffee Kit a go ourselves, we are going to pick one up and test it out. It may not be as trick as our normal routine, but it’s a hell of a lot easier. It might also be a good standby to always have at the ready. Come to think of it, maybe it can serve double-duty to help make some great camp cocktails using it as a strainer …
